Opulent automobiles tend to have the latest, most high-tech features, especially compared to standard cars on the market today.

Forget going to the masseur. Some luxury vehicles are now equipped to provide you with a soothing massage on your way to work. So how does a seat provide you with the feel of a real person kneading your back, at least without gifting you a tiny elf to travel with you everywhere you go? The seats have air bladders that inflate and deflate as you drive. Some of the most high-end vehicles come with up to 10 bladders.

The feeling of a warm scarf on cold winter days just heats every part of your body. Now, luxury cars, in particular the Mercedes SL and SLK, come with their own scarf to give you that feeling any time you’re driving. The headrests in the front seats provide the driver and front-seat passenger with heat around their head and neck, allowing them to enjoy riding with the top down, even when it’s not 80 degrees outside.
Autonomous Features
It won’t be long until anyone who can afford a new car will benefit from its self-driving capabilities. However, in the meantime, high-end cars are available with autonomous features such as Tesla’s autopilot system that helps the vehicle remain in the middle of the road. It has the ability to manage the vehicle’s speed via traffic-aware cruise-control features. And it will even change lanes on its own with the mere push of a turn signal. The BMW 7 Series sedans have the option of Active Driving Assistant Plus that assists the driver with staying in the center of the lane in speeds of up to 130 miles per hour. The car stops the driver from changing lanes when a vehicle is in the driver’s blindspot.
Camera Washers
Ford isn’t really a luxury brand, other than under Ford’s sister company Lincoln, but it’s still impressive that the Edge and Explorer’s rear and front cameras clean themselves on 2016 models. This prevents accidents occurring from a neglected camera. It makes you wonder how long until cars clean themselves because that’s a feature we’re definitely waiting for someone to invent.
