2019 Mercedes-Benz C-Class Packs More Luxury

2019 Mercedes-Benz C-Class

The Mercedes-Benz C-Class was already one of the most well-regarded compact luxury sedans in the world. The 2019 Mercedes-Benz C-Class, however, takes luxury to a whole new level. On the outside, the 2019 model is a continuation of the 2015 redesign, which means the car has a sleek, sexy, and luxurious look. However, Mercedes has upped the performance and technology options for the 2019 C-Class.

Perhaps most importantly, the C-Class is getting its big brother’s semi-autonomous driving assistance package. The E-Class’s semi-autonomous Drive Pilot is already one of the best regarded autonomous driving assistance platforms available. Now, Drive Pilot is available on the more affordable C-Class compact.

So what can Drive Pilot do? The car will automatically maintain a safe distance with cars in front of it, and will maintain lanes. It can even adjust speeds to match speed limits when needed. Perhaps the coolest feature, however, is the ability to change lanes by simply tapping the turn signal.

Further, the C-Class is also going to come loaded even if you don’t opt for all the bells and whistles. The 2019 C-Class will come standard with retractable sunroof, wood trim, a 7.0-inch infotainment system, push-button start and automatic braking. You don’t have to add these options, they come standard.

Also, performance has also been improved. The 2019 Mercedes C-Class enjoys 255 horsepower and 273 lb-ft of torque. While far from the fastest car in Mercedes‘ lineup, the C-Class is still quite well-regarded by road enthusiasts.

Ultimately, the 2019 Mercedes C-Class represents an evolution of an already great car and is sure to be well-received.
