Alfa Romeo Giulia: The New Italian Stallion

Alfa Romeo has a rich history in the automotive world. The Italian born luxury brand first made its presence known in 1910 and since then has set the gold standard for everyone who followed. Their latest masterpiece is the Giulia Quadrifoglio. While you get everything you would expect from Alfa Romeo, they have beefed up the technology making the car as user friendly as it is to drive.

Under the hood, you will find a powerful 2.9-liter turbo V-6 which gives you a whopping 505 of horsepower and 443 ft-lbs of torque. Coupled with a six speed manual transmission, to say this car is fast would be an understatement as it can launch from 0 to 60 in just 3.8 seconds and has a top speed of 191 mph making it the fastest production Alfa Romeo in history. They kept economy in mind giving Giulia an electronic controlled cylinder deactivation system reduces fuel consumption by shutting down cylinders when extra power is not needed and a start/stop system stops fuel flow and shuts down the powertrain when you come to a full stop.

With the coveted Alfa Romeo double wishbone front suspension with the semi virtual steering axis, you can expect exquisite performance and accurate steering capability. And with the Alfa-link rear axel designed with a vertical rod, your passengers are in for the smoothest ride of their lives.

The Quadrifoglio is the only sedan in the world equipped with an active aero front splitter. This adjustable carbon fiber spoiler is integrated into the front lower fascia. Electronically controlled, it balances and adjusts overall downforce. On the straightaway, the splitter is closed to minimize resistance and drag. On corners or when braking, the splitter opens up to provide up to 220 pounds of downforce for optimum balance.
