Aston Martin Vantage GT8 Configurator Now Live

Spending a lot of time online and having a penchant for all things automobile most likely means you have spent some valuable company time heading over to a manufacturer’s website and configuring a car you are never going to buy. We have all done it—some more than others—but often that barrier to ownership is money. Rarely is it scarcity, such as the Aston Martin Vantage GT8.

Getting your hands on a GT8 may be impossible, does not mean you cannot spend an afternoon configuring your very own. We are going to apologize to those living in the U.S.—this is a car not going on tour stateside.

While you dream, you can paint your Vantage GT8 in one of 35 different colors. There are four special liveries with eight accent packages. The shoes can wrap themselves four different wheel choices. Inside those wheels are calipers in one of six colors. There are also several carbon-fiber bits you can pick for the outside such as a massive rear wing, which gives the Aston its aggressive appearance.

Power comes from a 4.7-liter V-8 making 446 horsepower, which gets sent to the rear wheels through either a six-speed manual or seven-speed automatic transmission. Sadly, only 150 examples of the Aston Martin Vantage GT8 will be built. The GT8 is a continuation of the GT12, yet is far more powerful.

Sadly, the Aston Martin Vantage GT8 won’t be sold in the US. So this is about as big of a tease as that massive rear wing.
