Green Lord Motors Unveils G4 Electric Concept Car

GLM-G4

After teaming up with Tommy Kaira in 2014 to produce the TommyKaira ZZ which has a 0-62-mph capability of 3.9 seconds, GLM has been working on their ‘pipe dream’ electric sports car and it is now here and has more than topped their original collaborative model.

Already touted as a rival for America’s electronic vehicle sweetheart by virtue of its nickname—‘Japanese Tesla’—the G4 concept has already fulfilled the attractiveness quota, has more space than the usual EV concept and is poised force its way into the sport car luxury market with its low-slung profile, splayed doors and leather seats.

The G4 is powered by a twin-motor (one in the front and one in the back) electric powertrain providing a total of 563-hp and 737 pound-feet of torque. All this through a multi-speed transmission that allows a driving range of 248 miles on one charge; putting it 67 miles behind the Model S P100D. In the G4 we are looking at a 0-62-mph sprint in 3.7 seconds with a top speed of 155-mph.

Here’s to hoping that this car does more than whet our appetites but actually makes it into a showroom. The plans in that regard are to begin production in Japan, from which it will then be sold in Hong Kong and Singapore. If it reaches the US expect the starting price to be somewhere around $224,400.
