The Impressive RENNtech 4th of July Display
While all over the United States and across the world, America’s 241st Independence Day was celebrated with great gusto, RENNtech did it in style with a special 4th of July special edition. Sounds amazing? Well yes, it is. In what we could describe as an attempt to outperform the 4th of July fireworks this year, premier Mercedes Benz-AMG sports car builder RENNtech has done it with a splash of color. The red, white and blue set of AMG GT S series cars were released to coincide with the 4th of July with great aplomb.
Engine Modifications
The trio by RENNtech offers a combined 2,100+ hp with each car delivering 700+ hp. Aristocrat Motorcars, the company’s authorized dealer in Kansas City, Missouri, carried out these upgrades. The raw power from the 4.0 liter BiTurbo V8 engines was achieved by giving the turbochargers a complete makeover and increasing the compressor wheel size. The result is an impressive 716 hp with a torque of 656 lb-ft. The entire finished product was then put through RENNtech’s latest software upgrade, to produce optimal results.

The 4th of July edition will not only amaze you with the sheer power of the upgraded engine but with the engine sound. Made in USA 200 cell sport catalytic converters are attached to stainless steel downpipes. This premier specialist in Merc tuning has come a long way since its merger with Mercedes-Benz in 1999. Founder member Hartmut Feyhl formed RENNtech in Florida in 1989 after a 12-year stint at AMG.
