1993 Isdera Commendatore 112i Is Up For Sale

2021 is fast approaching and when the calendar turns the page, many people will lay out new goals and aims for the new year. If you’re looking to own a piece of supercar history, you can bid on the Commendatore 112i, a one-off vehicle built by boutique German firm Isdera.

It doesn’t get rarer than the  Isdera Commendatore 112i, given that only one was ever produced. Isdera is still around and the team of crafts people continues to build cars the old fashioned way, by hand. If you want to get your hands on a new Isdera, you’ll have to call the CEO and talk to him directly.

If you’re looking to pick up the Isdera Commendatore 112i, however, you’ll need to put your bid in the Sotheby’s Paris auction in February 2021.

This car was built in 1993 and features distinctive round styling that’s both reminiscent of the era and still somehow strikingly modern. Meanwhile, gullwing doors add a distinctive flair to the car.

As for power, this super car features a 6 liter Mercedes M120 V-12 engine that cranks out about 400 horsepower. These days, those specs are a bit tame for a hyper car. However, back in the 1990s, they were a big deal.

What really makes this exotic car for sale unique, however, is its aerodynamic styling. The car has a drag coefficient of 0.306, which was excellent for the day and age. The minimal drag also helped the Isdera Commendatore 112i top 210 miles per hour.
