2020 Lamborghini Huracán EVO Revealed
The Lamborghini 2020 Huracán EVO promises to be both a high tech wonder and a high performance superstar.
Just think of how advanced our hypercars are and how far technology has come. Decades ago, we sent people space largely using pen and paper (and a whole lot of rocket fuel.) Now, hypercars like the 2020 Huracán EVO are crammed bumper to bumper with technological advancements, including an array of computer chips and other advanced technologies.
Of course the 2020 Huracán EVO still features a whole lot of old school fossil fuel muscle. The 2020 Huracán EVO will sport a 5.2L V10 that cranks out 640 horsepower (at 8,000 rpm) and a more than respectable 443 lb-ft of torque at 6,500 rpm.
Like all Lamborghini automobiles, the Huracán will be lightweight and aerodynamic, ensuring that all that power is put to good use. The 2020 Huracán EVO will weigh in at roughly 3,135 pounds, which is 90 pounds heavier than the Huracan Performante. Still, the EVO will be among the lightest Lamborghinis ever produced.
As for performance, the 2020 Huracán EVO should top out over 202 miles per hour. It’s also believed that it’ll reach 62 miles in 2.9 seconds or less. The Huracán EVO gets even quicker from their one out, reaching 124 miles per hour in just 9 seconds. So yeah, this Lambo will be right at home on the drag strip.
Interestingly, the Huracán will also feature some of the latest tech from Detroit. Lamborghini decided to license the MagneRide 2.0 from General Motors, which will result in magnetic shocks.
