Praga Bohema: The Ultimate Road-Legal Hypercar

Praga Bohema

The Praga Bohema, a highly anticipated hypercar, has officially entered production, marking a significant milestone for Praga, one of the world’s oldest car brands. This event signals Praga’s bold entry into the hypercar market and highlights the company’s innovation and commitment to automotive excellence.

The Bohema was first revealed in prototype form in late 2022 and is distinguished by its exceptional design and engineering. This hypercar is being hand-built in very limited numbers, with production spanning over the next four years. It’s noteworthy that the Bohema could be among the last all-new petrol-powered hypercars, as the automotive industry increasingly shifts towards electrification.

This road-legal hypercar weighs below 1,000kg and boasts a power output of 700hp, thanks to its all-carbon, aero-driven design. Its two-seater configuration and impressive specifications make it a standout addition to any hypercar collection.

Praga has shown a dedication to quality and customer experience by inviting the first Bohema clients to its bespoke assembly facility. These clients had the unique opportunity to witness the hand-building process and experience the final production specification Bohema, even testing it on icy Czech roads.

The Bohema’s development included an intensive on-road pre-production phase and on-track test programs at renowned locations like Spa-Francorchamps, the Red Bull Ring, and Nürburgring. Notable contributions to its performance and handling came from world-class drivers including F1 and IndyCar driver Romain Grosjean, Ben Collins (formerly known as the Stig on BBC’s Top Gear), and Josef Kral, Praga’s Chief Test Driver and experienced GT racer.

The first customer handover of the Bohema is set to take place in Europe in the first half of 2024, with a unique specification to celebrate the occasion. Additionally, handovers are planned in the UAE and USA within the same year. Praga has already scheduled Bohema production for 2025, indicating a strong demand for this exclusive hypercar.

The Praga Bohema is priced at €1.36 million, reflecting its exclusivity and the high level of craftsmanship involved in its creation. This launch is not just a new chapter for Praga but also a significant event in the automotive world, showcasing the blend of traditional craftsmanship with modern automotive technology.
