Rolls-Royce Reveals Limited Edition Ghost Prism
The Rolls-Royce Ghost Prism emerges as a beacon of luxury and bespoke craftsmanship, introduced to commemorate the storied British marque’s 120th anniversary. This special edition, limited to just 120 examples worldwide, is a tribute to both the brand’s rich legacy and its contemporary influence on fashion and luxury automotive design. The Ghost Prism is a celebration of individuality and style, designed for the discerning driver whose personal sense of elegance encompasses a love for dark, neutral colors, bold accents, and well-tailored shapes.
Available in a myriad of Rolls-Royce’s signature colors, the demonstration model of the Ghost Prism wears a sophisticated shade of Gunmetal. This rich mineral finish is the result of an intricate 16-hour process involving the application and buffering of four coats of paint, showcasing the meticulous attention to detail for which Rolls-Royce is renowned. The vehicle’s mirror-polished, stainless-steel trim, including the iconic grille and rear-lid brightwork, features a smoked finish named Burnout, enhancing its sophisticated aesthetic. Notably, the Spirit of Ecstasy remains untouched, standing proudly in its original form.
Accentuating the Ghost Prism’s unique persona are four vibrant accent packages—Phoenix Red, Turchese, Mandarin, and Forge Yellow. These striking splashes of color are meticulously integrated into the vehicle’s primary hue, both inside and out. Inside, the Ghost Prism’s luxurious cabin remains largely unchanged, yet it is elevated by these bold accents woven into the steering wheel, dashboard, and seat inserts. The bespoke nature of the vehicle is further highlighted by the 1,040 ‘stars’ embedded into the vehicle’s Bespoke Starlight Headliner, creating a celestial ambiance tailored to each variant.
While the Ghost Prism is primarily an exclusive appearance package, its performance capabilities remain as impressive as ever. Powered by Rolls-Royce’s venerable 6.7-liter V12 engine, paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission, the vehicle boasts 563 horsepower and 627 ft lbs of torque. This potent combination allows the saloon to sprint from zero to 60 mph in just 4.7 seconds, with a top speed capped at 155 mph.
As Rolls-Royce has yet to disclose whether the production run is fully subscribed or the exact pricing, anticipation continues to build. Given its limited availability and the level of bespoke craftsmanship involved, it is expected that the Ghost Prism will command a price well above the standard model’s starting point of $350,000. The Ghost Prism not only celebrates Rolls-Royce’s 120 years of automotive excellence but also stands as a testament to the brand’s ongoing commitment to creating vehicles that embody the pinnacle of luxury, design, and performance.
