Although the BMW Z4 GT3 reigned from 2010 until 2015 as BMW’s high-performance racecar, it’s now being replaced by the BMW M6 GT3. And we’re pretty sure it earned this right. BMW improved and enhanced many aspects of this vehicle including its driveability and economy. During wind tunnel testing, the corporation finely tuned the aerodynamic properties of the chassis. With its light weight and aerodynamics, the entire concept of this vehicle centers around getting this car to reach high speeds quickly. The designers had safety in mind as well, consider it was fitted with an FIA-approved safety cell and crash elements comprised of carbon fiber located in the front and rear.

The BMW M6 GT3 proved itself on May 29, 2016 at the Nurburgring 24 Hours. Several GT3s competed; however, not every one finished. Overall, the top GT3 came in fifth place, but due to the weather conditions of the race, it’s still very impressive.
