Unraveling the Secret Code of the Rolls-Royce Wraith
The up-coming Rolls-Royce Wraith Kryptos can best be described as a maze of complex code, fitting given that the car was made to honor Neo in the famed Matrix series. The Wraith Kryptos Collection consists of 50 two-door coupes, each incorporating “complex ciphers,” and while we’re not quite sure what that means yet, expect it to be quite the puzzler.
We know what the word Kyrptos means, roughly. It’s an ancient Greek word that refers to something hidden or unseen. And we know there are some hidden messages in the vehicle, although obviously we can’t say what they mean just yet. The Spirit of Ecstasy adorns the hood, while engravings cover much of the paint. At first glance, the paint job appears a relatively standard gray but under light, blue and green patterns become visible.
Secrets are also apparently etched into the passenger side fascia, based on pictures. It’s hard to know what the apparent messages might mean, but over time clever ciphers may reveal hidden truths. The twinkling Starlight headliner, a famed featured among limited edition Rolls-Royces, also features stunning patterns that may reveal hidden messages.
It’s hard to say what exactly is in store for the Rolls-Royce Wraith Kryptos but this car may become a hot collector’s item. Specs haven’t been released yet either, but the standard Rolls-Royce Wraith for sale is powered by a massive 6.6 liter V12 engine that cranks out over 600 horsepower and torque. Expect the Kryptos edition to meet, if not exceed, the standard Wraith’s output.
