Alfa Romeo 4C Spider Review

Alfa Romeo 4C Spider Review

The new Alfa Romeo 4C Spider is starting to gain traction around the world. The new sports car is powered by turbocharged 4 cylinder engine which can also be found in the new 4C Coupe. The small engine pushes out 237 hp and 258 lb-ft of torque, which may not seem like a lot, but with such a small and lightweight car it is much faster than you would expect. In terms of speed and acceleration, the 4C Spider goes from 0-60 mpg in only 4.1 seconds with a top speed of 160 mph. Alfa Romeo found a way to get the performance out of such a small engine.

Alfa Romeo 4C Spider

Alfa Romeo did a wonderful job designing the 4C Spider, the new sports car really sets the bar for other companies currently building or designing smaller roadsters. The exterior is very sporty, one of the most noticeable features are the two large rear taillights with exhaust pipes installed below and between them. The front fascia is a typical Alfa Romeo look which can be spotted easily on the streets by any car enthusiast. The only potential downside is the size, the 4C Spider is small, but it makes up for its size with its beautiful design and quick acceleration.

Alfa Romeo 4C Spider Interior

The interior is fairly simple but also very sporty. The combination of leather and naked carbon fiber really set the sports car tone and theme inside the new 4C Spider. One of the best features of the 4C Spider is the sound that comes from the engine and exhaust, you really feel like your behind the wheel of a true Italian sports car but only paying a fraction of what a Ferrari or Lamborghini would cost. While the 4C Spider is not cheap, the MSRP of $65,900 is certainly more affordable than other Italian cars on the market.
