Austrian Auto Maker Milan to Launch 1,300 HP Red Hypercar

Milan Red Hypercar

Automaker Milan plans to put Austria on the hypercar map. The company is launching a powerful, eye-catching new performance vehicle, the Milan Red Hypercar. Austria certainly doesn’t have the automobile reputation of Germany or Italy, but Milan might just change that.

The beautiful Red hypercar will be powered by a 6.2-liter quad turbo V8. This quad turbo is producing some impressive stats. The company claims that it cranks out 1,307 HP and 1,303 pound-feet of torque. This allows the Red to hit 62 miles per hour in just 2.48 seconds. The car tops out at 249 miles per hour.

The Milan Red certainly has some distinctive styling. This should come as no surprise, Milan is a relatively new player to the hypercar market, so they get to invent a whole new design language. And invent they did.

The Milen Red was named after the red kite bird of prey. When it comes to flying in the air, weight is very important. The same is true of hypercars. While we often focus on horsepower and torque, weight is, pound for pound, just as important. The Milan Red weighs just 2,866 pounds, making it among the lighter hypercars on the road.

Only 99 copies of the Milan Red will be produced, with 18 of them having already being spoken for. If you’re looking to acquire a Red, you’re going to have to pony up a lot of money for those horses. The car is selling for $2.3 million. However, given its limited production run and specs, don’t be surprised if that expenditure turns into an investment for Milan Red buyers.
