He only loves his bed, his car and his mom. Drake’s one-of-a-kind Chrome Hearts Rolls-Royce Cullinan is here, it’s insane, oh, and it’s at the Institute of Contemporary Arts in Miami until May 15th if you want to see it for yourself. This wild design took two full years in production to pass all sorts of street regulations, plus to get the Chrome Hearts collaboration just right.
The word “luxury” doesn’t do this menacing mobile justice. At first glance, it’s black-on-black and very badass, but up close it’s gothic and gaudy like we’ve never seen before, with detailing done by the eccentric jewelry brand Chrome Hearts. Rather than the classic Spirit of Ecstacy emblem topping your typical Rolls-Royce for sale, there’s a ritzy trio of cemetery crosses. The aluminum wheels are also hard to miss, with big Chrome Hearts logos smack in the middle and “Fuck You” engraved in gothic.
Subtle, right? Wait ‘til you see the interior. It’s packed with in-your-face patterns everywhere you look that certainly makes a statement. Drizzy’s interior design has us a little dizzy, with quilted black leather and silver accents that wrap the seats, door panels, dashboard and console. The ceiling is speckled to look like the night sky for even more dramatic effect.
Whether this insane style speaks to your soul or burns your eyes a little, this Rolls-Royce is one of one, and that’s pretty cool in itself. There’s speculation that Drake is using his crazy new car to tease his upcoming album Certified Lover Boy, which is set to debut sometime this year, and has Chrome Hearts merch to match.
