The Jaguar F-Type has long been well-regarded among the motor sports enthusiast community. Throughout various generations, the F-Type has offered sleek styling, sporty good looks, and solid performance. Now, with new updates, the Jaguar F-Type looks even sleeker and more refined. And underneath the sheet metal, the 2021 Jaguar F-Type is getting some important updates.
First, however, let’s talk about the sharpened looks. You’ll notice the wider, deeper set grill and narrower headlights. Both combine to give the 2021 Jaguar F-Type more aggressive, sporty styling. Head to the back and you’ll see that the taillights are also narrower. Then, as you step back and take it all in, you’ll notice that the whole profile has been subtly changed to offer smoother styling.
The Jaguar F-Type has to compete with a lot of handsome and exotic cars. Yet with the new styling updates, many will agree that the 2021 F-Type is ready to take on the competition. Not that the F-Type was a bad car beforehand, but the new design cues really help set it apart on a rather crowded road.
As for engines, you’ll get plenty of choices. There’s a turbocharged 4 cylinder that cranks out 296 horsepower. Meanwhile, the mid-range V6 pumps out 575 horsepower, while the V8 can unleash 575 horsepower. While the entry and mid-range engines might leave some drivers wanting for more, the V8 offers plenty of power.
If there was one knock against previous F-Types, however, it was the driving experience. That’s why Jaguar has refined the steering and suspension for the 2010 F Type, while also equipping bigger tires. All-together, this tuning should make for better handling and a smoother ride.
