Meet The Aston Martin DBS GT Zagato

Aston Martin DBS GT Zagato

What do a renowned British automaker and 100-year-old Italian coach company have in common? Well, the DBS GT Zagato, for one. Built by Aston Martin, designed by renowned Italian design firm DBZ, the DBS GT Zagato is yet another fine automobile to come out of the DBZ Centenary Collection.

The DBS GT Zagato is based on the DBS Superleggera, itself a fine supercar that combines the best of British engineering and manufacturing prowess with Italian style and flair. No surprise, the DBS GT Zagato is powered by the Superleggera’s powerful 5.6-liter V-12 engine, which cranks out a whopping 760 horsepower.

The Italian flair is perhaps most pronounced inside. In a world-first, 3-D printed accents made of carbon, aluminum, and PVD-coated gold stainless steel add a special, prestigious touch. 3-D machined satin black and gold wheels come standard.

As for the paint job, you can choose any paint job you want, so long as it’s the exclusive Supernova Red. You’ll also get to enjoy a variety of gold features and carbon-fiber flair. If you do want to add your own personal touch, Aston Martin’s bespoke Q division is open for business.

While the other DBZ Centenary, the DB4 Zagato Continuation, isn’t street legal, the DBS GT Zagato is. This means you can enjoy all those horses on the open road, not just at the racetrack. That said, if you want the DBS GT Zagato, you have to pick up the DB4 Zagato Continuation too. The two cars are being sold exclusively in pairs and will set you back $7.4 million.
