Have you ever wanted to turn a high-end Porsche into a rally car? If so, you share some of the same interests as Marc Philipp Gemballa, who has put together the Marsien, a Porsche for sale that promises great performance on and off the road.
The Marsien is based on the Porsche 911 Turbo S for sale and is equipped with an advanced all-wheel drive system. This all-wheel drive system, in turn, promises better off-road performance and reliable handling. While Porsche’s are well known for performing well at the track and on the drag strip, most aren’t built for off-road use.
Only 40 units of the Marsien are expected to be built. This hypercar has already been tested in the Arabian deserts and so far performance looks promising. The body is made entirely from carbon fiber, ensuring a light weight, which can be particularly useful off-road. Equipped with a twin-turbo flat six, that cranks out 740 horsepower and 685 lb-ft of torque, the Marsein hits 62 miles in 2.6 seconds.
The Marsien marks Marc Philipp Gemballa’s entry into the tuning market. The 27 year old is the son of Uwe Gemballa, who founded Gemballa, a well-known tuning company and aftermarket parts supplier for supercars, and particularly Porsche models.
In designing and building the Masrien, Marc Gemballa wanted a vehicle that offered plenty of speed but also functionality. This hypercar features beefed-up suspension, active damper controls, and a hydraulic lift system, among other features, that should help it perform well in off-road environments.
And on the road? A Porsche is still a Porsche!
