Morgan Motor Company Celebrates 110 Years

Morgan Motor Company

English motor maker Morgan is announcing a new lineup to mark its 110 year anniversary next year. Styling will remain largely unchanged, as it has for decades, and their V-8 Plus Eight is being retired. You’ll still be able to pick up their 3 Wheeler, 2.0-liter Plus 4, and the V6-powered Roadster, which is powered by a 3.7-liter V6.

One of the last few family owned automakers in the world, Morgan still relies on century old styling. However, while their cars certainly look classic and iconic, they are refined and feature many of the latest technologies.

For example, the companies stunning three wheeler looks like it came out of the early 20th century, but comes with push button start and can reach sixty miles per hour in less than six seconds with its S&S 1979cc V twin. Morgan’s vehicles also come with modern suspensions and drive trains, ensuring a smooth, consistent ride.

In celebration of their 110th anniversary, buyers will be able to get 15 new options, all at no additional cost. It’s not all too often that you hear about car companies offering options for free. Options include rear-exit sports exhaust, leather hood straps, and Momo-Lita steering wheels.

You can also select a variety of new metallic paint colors. Unlike most automakers, the paint job you select won’t impact the cost of your Morgan. Given that all these options are worth more than $10,000, it’s a pretty substantial give away. So if you’ve been looking at Morgan’s iconic cars, this year is a great year to pick one up.
