Rolls-Royce Cullinan Black Badge Gets a Sinister Treatment

Rolls-Royce Cullinan Black Badge

With the next Star Wars movie fast approaching, it’s hard not to notice how the Rolls-Royce Cullinan Black Badge is vaguely reminiscent of the infamous Lord Vader. The beefy, aggressive, and blacked out Cullinan Black Badge is a bit of a departure from the often classical styling favored by Rolls-Royce. Make no mistake, however, this SUV still exudes luxury.

Rolls-Royce likes to use a lot of chrome on many of their cars. In order to achieve a darker, more noir look, the company applied a chemical treatment to the chrome trimmings. The end result is a smoky dark chrome that’s subtle and eye-catching all at once.

The Cullinan’s interior is largely blacked out as well, however, some bright yellow coloring breaks the dark midnight treatment. The coolest interior feature though is probably the starry night interior roof lining that will offer a nighttime view no matter the conditions outside.

Still, the biggest upgrades weren’t to the skin or the interior. Instead, you’ll have to look under the hood. The Rolls-Royce’s massive 6.75-liter twin-turbo V-12 gets a 29 hp power boost, enjoying a final tally of 600 horsepower. Add in 664 ft-lbs. of torque and you’ve got a lot of power under the pedal.  That helps this massive SUV hit sixty in just 4.9 seconds.

With a base price of $382,000, you’ll have to open the checkbook to purchase the Rolls-Royce Cullinan for sale. Still, if you want a top-end SUV that offers near supercar performance, it’s hard to beat this Rolls-Royce.
