TopCar’s Porsche 991 Stinger GTR Spotted

European luxury car tuner TOPCAR Design in conjunction with one of their official US dealers, Boost Logic, recently released photos of their newly completed Porsche 991 Stinger GTR — the first ever built in the US. This particular Stinger GTR started as a Porsche 991 Turbo S before undergoing a radical transformation at Boost Logic’s facilities in Texas. Cosmetic highlights include a Lamborghini Balloon White paint job, a set of 21” ADV wheels and TOPCAR’s Stinger GTR body kit.

The Stinger GTR body kit from TOPCAR features an array of carbon fiber parts, coming in either a primed carbon finish — ready to be painted in a matching body color or custom color — or a lacquered carbon finish, which showcases the bare carbon weave with a gloss clear coat laid over the surface for protection. Everything from the front and rear bumpers, rear fenders, hood and rear diffuser can be replaced with TOPCAR’s lightweight composite parts: a total of 24 pieces comprise the standard Stinger GTR body kit, starting at €34,080. At current exchange rates, the price for the body kit alone is roughly $38,593. That figure does not include installation or paint work, which would add another $14,000 on top of the kit itself.

The Stinger GTR usually retains the OEM Porsche 991 Turbo/S drivetrain, unless the customer opts for TOPCAR’s HP kit, which is advertised to boost power by 60hp and torque by 96lb-ft. TOPCAR and Boost Logic decided their white 991 Stinger GTR needed more than just an aesthetic overhaul, however, and is said to be outputting 750hp. Official build specs were not published, but it’s a safe bet that this Porsche Turbo S was outfitted with Boost Logic’s 991 Turbo 750X package to reach the stated power level, especially given Boost Logic’s reputation for building high power turbocharged vehicles. Boost Logic’s 750X package includes custom upgraded turbochargers, a custom formula exhaust system, custom ceramic-coated headers, a 6” intercooler kit and their own in-house tune.

TOPCAR left it up to one of their close partners based stateside, ADV.1 Wheels, to supply the finishing touches to their 991 Stinger GTR, opting to equip the Porsche with a set of gloss black ADV6.2 M.V2 Standard wheels in a staggered 21×9 front / 21×11.5 rear setup. The inner discs are finished a brushed gloss red, a subtle, but welcome relief from the high-contrast white/black color theme.

For those discerning customers who like the idea of owning a virtually entirely carbon fiber-bodied 991 Porsche Turbo/S, TOPCAR can make it happen with their Stinger GTR Carbon Edition body kit, which carries a €15,000 premium over the standard Stinger GTR kit. The price premium includes 30 or so extra carbon fiber parts, which when outfitted to the Porsche 991 Turbo make it look as though it came from the factory with a full carbon body. If it looks anywhere as near as good as it does in photos, the Stinger GTR is certainly a must-see for any lover of tuned Porsches.
