1978 Lincoln Mark V with the 460 engine. The 1978 was the last year for the 460 Big Block Ford in a passenger car. The last of an era. A native New Mexican! This vehicles Includes, aluminum pro comp heads, solid roller conversion, comp cams, Edelbrock aluminum manifold, Quik Fuel double pumper 750 carb, electric water pump conversion, electric fans with shroud conversion, big aluminum radiator, and MSD ignition and distributor, mechanical advance only. Tall boy aluminum valve covers to fit the adjustable roller rockers, STR rims and new Hankook tires. New oil pan gaskets and front and rear main seals. A new front pump seal and output shaft seal were put in the trans while it was out, and head studs. Also, a new oil pump and timing set were completed when the cam was finished. Fresh fluids all around. The engine is a little dusty in the pics, but it looks good. LED front light conversion. Super bright. LED marker lights and interior lights. She comes complete with Hula girl on the dash and, of course, dice hanging from the rear-view mirror. The car is more a cruiser than anything else. The front of the car was lowered because of the weight removed by going with the aluminum heads, manifold, and even the water pump. A GM one wire high amp alternator was put in with billet bracket. She will need some love though . . . a new top eventually, and the door panels arm rests need to be replaced, interior and exterior, as well. The driver’s seat is not in the best condition, but the power seats still work. Not particularly looking for trades; but will consider Hummer H2 parts.
