Seller's Notes

Up for Sale is a RARE 1977 PORSCHE 924- Martini-Rossi LIMITED EDITION. In 1977, Porsche introduced a 2.0-liter front-engine, water-cooled sports car. As a tribute to their race sponsor Martini-Rossi, Porsche made a Limited Edition Porsche 924 - 3,000 worldwide, but only 2,000 were slated for the USA. This is one of the early examples of both, this is #724 of the total Porsche 924 produced (150,083 total). Martini Edition– factory order number M426, which included; White Rims (including spare), Scarlet pile carpet and bucket seat inserts, World Championship console plaque, Front & Rear sway bars, Martini stripes, leather steering wheel and tinted windows with heated rear glass. The body still has its white paint and original Martini-Rossi Limited Edition striping. It has a removeable Sun Roof and Rear Spoiler (option). The retractable headlights work great. The body has a small dimple on front end (not hit, a box fell on it - easily repairable), needs a driver’s side mirror and the exterior door lock repaired. The 2.0 Liter engine runs great! The 4-speed transmission shift/clutch/linkage needs adjustment. Both engine and transmission are original to the car. Although the odometer reads 24,235 the mileage exceeds mechanical limits. This car is not perfect but is an unbelievable start to an already coveted Collector Car. This car will only go up in value. A collector PORSCHE under $6K
