This 1971 Porsche 911T Targa is a US-spec example finished in grand prix white over black leather. It is an original numbers-matching car. The car was sold new through Classic Porsche Audi Inc of Cincinnati, Ohio. I have a copy of the original title, a current clean Ohio title, a folder of maintenance records since original ownership, original toolkit, two sets of keys and photos with the original owner.
This is a one-owner car, I bought it from the original owner and immediately started a long restoration project that lasted about 5 years, no expense spared. The work was done by MetalKraft Coachwerkes restoration shop in Cincinnati, Ohio. Restoration completed end of July 2019.
The car has 86,614 original documented miles with maintenance records from the day of sale. Power comes from a numbers-matching 2.2-liter flat-six paired with the original five-speed manual transaxle. Engine runs smooth and starts right up, with stable idle and great acceleration. No abnormal noises or warning lights.
Mostly original with clean carpets, and original dash (no cracks), no tears or rips in the seats. Original radio
Just finished a detailed high-quality restoration with all rust repaired and the body gone through a full detail. Documentation of the restoration is available with pictures of every step. A top of the line paint job after sanding down to the bare metal. Absolutely NO rust. The Targa top was also refurbished. The car keeps its original glass. The car looks amazing, with all the exterior restoration, while keeping as much of the originality of the car as possible. Show car level work completed.
