This 1969 Chevrolet Chevelle SS was produced at GM’s Atlanta, Georgia facility and is finished in black over black vinyl. Power is supplied by a replacement 396ci L78 V8 fitted with aluminum cylinder heads and paired with a Muncie M21 four-speed manual transmission. Additional features include a Positraction rear differential, a center console, power-assisted steering and front disc brakes, and Super Sport-style wheels. The exterior was factory-finished in Tuxedo Black (10) and is said to have received a repaint some time ago. Features include a black grill and trunk garnish molding, SS and 396 badging, dual exhaust outlets, twin hood bulges, and chrome bumpers and trim. The 14” Super Sport-style wheels feature polished trim rings and are wrapped in Goodyear redline tires. The brake system features power-assisted front discs and rear drums. The cabin is equipped with twin bucket seats upholstered in black vinyl as well as a matching dashboard, door panels, and carpets. Amenities include a center console, a push-button AM/FM radio, and power-assisted steering. The two-spoke steering wheel with a faux-woodgrain accent fronts instrumentation including a 120-mph speedometer, an analog clock, and a combination gauge. The five-digit odometer shows just over 64k miles, though total mileage is unknown. Power is supplied by a replacement 396ci L78 V8 equipped with an L89 aluminum intake manifold and cylinder heads. The rear wheels are driven through a Muncie M21 four-speed manual transmission linked with a 12-bolt rear axle with a 4.11:1 Positraction differential.
