Our 912 is finished in Bahama Yellow and features chrome-accented front and rear bumpers with overriders, a left side mirror, fog lights, and chrome window trim. Service in 2018 included repairing rust in the windshield pocket, quarter window sills, rocker panels, and the lower portions of the fenders, doors, and quarter panels. The windshield and rear window were also replaced along with the window seals and body seals.

Braking is from four-wheel discs. Recent service also included turning the rotors, installing Koni shocks, and replacing the suspension bearings and brake lines.

The interior features replacement front bucket seats trimmed in black vinyl along with matching door panels and gray carpets. The interior also includes three-point front seatbelts, an Alpine CD player, and aftermarket speakers.

The four-spoke steering wheel frames a 7k-rpm tachometer, a 120-mph speedometer, a clock, and gauges for fuel level, oil level, oil temperature, and oil pressure. The five-digit odometer shows 98k miles. True mileage is unknown.

The 1.6-liter flat-four was replaced during previous ownership and is equipped with dual downdraft carburetors, K&N air cleaners, an MSD ignition, and a Bursch exhaust system. The clutch assembly and flywheel were replaced in December 2018, and the generator was replaced in April 2020.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a Type 902 five-speed transaxle. The front pan was replaced under previous ownership, and the transmission mount was replaced in 2018. Service in August 2020 included removing the engine, transmission, and suspension, cleaning the underside, repairing rust, and refinishing the engine tins and suspension components.
