Lotus has just unveiled its Exige Cup 430, which is being described as “the most extreme Exige ever”. The Exige Cup 430 is powered by a Toyota-sourced 3.5 liter supercharged V6, which pumps out 430 hp and 324 lb-ft of torque. The six-speed manual transmission will take you from 0-60 mph in 3.2 seconds with a top speed of 180 mph according to Lotus. Ready for the track, this is not your typical Lotus Exige for sale.
Additional carbon fiber components have helped reduce the weight from the current Exige body. This specific Exige was built for enthusiasts searching for a light, track-ready sports car, weighing in at just 2,328 lbs, it won’t be easy to find a lighter option with all the goodies included in this special edition Exige. The Exige Cup 430 will only be available to buyers in the United Kingdom, France, Germany and Italy. Prices will start at £99,800 in the UK, which equates to about $130,000.
