Aston Martin Valhalla is a Heavenly Hypercar

Aston Martin Valhalla

The hypercar world has known that Aston Martin was working on something big, or fast I should say. Shadowy silhouettes and stunning renderings hinted at a super-fast mid engine car. Still, fans were largely kept in the dark. Now, Aston Martin has unveiled the Valhalla super car, and it’s heaven on the track.

Not only have fans gotten a chance to see the Valhalla in all its glory, we’ve got a decent idea of how it’ll perform. The hypercar will be equipped with a turbocharged V6 and battery-electric hybrid system. Speculation points to output somewhere around 1,000 HP, which should enable the Valhalla to hit 60 in under 2.5 seconds. Top speed is expected to reach or break 220 miles per hour.

That V6 and the all-carbon fiber body should result in a relatively light hypercar, although the hybrid battery system will likely weigh it down. The aerodynamic design and wide body should lend to good handling as well. Needless to say, the Valhalla is already drawing a lot of hype.

However, the excitement isn’t all about performance. Aston Martin is aiming for a relatively practical hypercar with the Valhalla. While the upcoming Valkyrie is a beast on the road, it makes a lot of creature comfort sacrifices. The Valhalla aims to strike a middle ground between performance and comfort.

So far, the results look promising. The interior is spacious and comfy, and the controls and instrument clusters are all designed for ergonomics. Only 500 Aston Martin Valhalla’s will be manufactured, so act fast if you want a slice of heaven.
