Bugatti Bolide: The World’s Most Beautiful Hypercar

Bugatti Bolide

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Still, every once in a while, a product comes along that’s so beautiful that design experts the world over agree that it’s one of the most beautiful products ever made. And the Bugatti Bolide is the perfect example of a hypercar drawing high design praise.

Bugatti has emerged as one of the biggest, boldest brands in the hypercar industry. Their cars are blazing fast and feature aggressive, distinct designs. The Bugatti Bolide prototype was designated as the world’s most beautiful hypercar by a panel of design professionals at the 36th Festival Automobile International in Paris.

The Bugatti Bolide features a low profile with sharp lines and an aggressive posture. The design is quite busy, but Bugatt’s designers managed to keep the design from becoming too busy. And while the award winner was a prototype, the production version of the Bugatti Bolide hews closely to the original concept.

The result? The Bugatti Bolide may indeed be the most beautiful hypercar in recent memory. Costing $4.7 million on up, you’ll have to shell out a lot to secure this Bugatti for sale.

In Bugatti fashion, you’ll get plenty of performance. The Bolide packs an 8 liter W16 turbo engine that cranks out 1,825 horsepower and 1,364 ft lbs of torque. Meanwhile, the Bolide weighs a mere 2,734 pounds, making it one of the lightest hypercars ever made.

While Bugatti is now one of the most renowned hypercar brands, the brand actually went dormant for decades. The first revival attempt in the late 1980s and 90s failed but Bugatti has found its footing under Volkswagen. The Bugatti Bolide marks yet another step forward for the marquee brand, especially in terms of refined design.
