Cybertruck is Getting Its Own Tesla-Made Cybunker
Looking to pick up a Cybertruck Pickup? You might need a Cybunker. Tesla’s crazy new concept truck has already made waves with its futuristic, potentially industry breaking design. Yet that crazy design also means that the Cybertruck won’t fit into your average garage.
Tesla being Tesla decided to come up with their own solution: a Cybunker that will feature the correct dimensions for housing your Cybertruck. Of course, Tesla isn’t going to build a mere garage. After all, Elon Musk is already one of the leaders in the space race, solar energy, and other fields.
The depot is being labeled as an “Accessory Dwelling Unit”, or ADU for short. It is designed to support off-grid living and bears an uncanny resemblance to the Cybertruck itself. The bunker has been designed by firm Lars Buro, which is known for its often unique and eccentric design philosophies.
Will the Cybunker be a big hit? Who knows but if any company can get people to invest in off-grid truck bunkers, it’s probably Tesla. The all-electric company has already received roughly 200,000 pre-orders for its Cybertruck.
As for specs, a lot remains unknown. At its smallest, the Cybunker will measure about 600 square feet. This is expandable to about 1,800 square feet. At such sizes, it’ll be as big as some barns and workshops. Pricing likewise remains unknown, but it’ll likely be quite expensive for a garage. The launch date for the Cybunker is unknown, while the Cybertruck should hit the market in late 2021.
