Ferrari Monza SP1 And SP2 Speedsters

Ferrari is know for building amazing road machines. Yet when Ferrari decides to put together a special or limited edition car, like the Monza SP1 And SP2 Speedsters, the company tends to exceed even its own lofty standards. That’s certainly true of the Monza SP1 And SP2 Speedsters, which put in some genuinely epic performances.

The Monzas are part of Ferrari’s new Icona series and they hearken back to the roadsters of old. Still, while the cars are vaguely reminiscent of 1950’s speedsters, they offer the latest technology and cutting edge modern performance.

The Monza SP1 And SP2 Speedsters achieve this with the ample use of carbon fiber and a 6.5-liter V12 making 809 horsepower engine. This allows the Speedsters to hit 60 miles per hour in less than 60 seconds. The cars will also hit 200 kilometers (124 MPH) per hour in less than 8 seconds.

Both the Monza SP1 And SP2 Speedsters are designed specifically for the track. Consider that windshields are not equipped because that’ll just create unnecessary drag and you’ll be wearing a helmet anyways. Keep that in mind if you’re looking to pick up one of the Monzas.

Also, you’ll have to decide if you want a one seater or two seater. For those who’ll be exclusively racing solo around the track, the SP1 is a one seater variant, focusing exclusively on aerodynamics and performance. The SP2 comes with a seat for a passenger. Both are equipped with nice but minimalist interiors.
