The "Italian Job" Miura

With what started as a side project by some engineers at Lamborghini, that turned into a car that still captures our undivided attention years later, this marque was ahead of the game during its time with its mid-mounted engine that gave rise to the first generation of Miura’s being called P400. This transverse 3.9-liter V12 on a 5-speed manual transmission puts out 345-hp to the rear wheels, which even by today’s standards isn’t bad at all. Unfortunately the engine had to be switched out in 2011 due to a “hairline crack” however, the new owner of this car will receive the original on purchase.

The beauty of this car lies just as much in its feminine features as it does in its masculine features, they balance each other and coexist in perfect harmony complimented expertly by the Arancio Miura paint job that was also redone in 2011 along with the engine replacement. The Miura was one of only three to be painted in this color, and short of those two upgrades, the car is relatively untouched save its almost 12,000 miles registered.
