Among the ranks of mini cars emerged the Honda Urban EV. Expected to be out in the market by 2019, this cool electric car is a surprisingly four-seater supermini which features LED headlights, message boards, and rear-hinged doors. For those who are looking for a charming, functional, and modern vehicle, this really is something to look forward to in the next two years!

Three years in the making and Japan-based car manufacturer Aspark has finally revealed the Owl. During it’s the debut in the Frankfurt Motor Show, the car was described to feature 1000 horsepower, can speed up from 0 to 100 kph in 2 seconds, all-electric, and weighs only 850 kilograms.  While this car seems to be promising, actual production date has not been released yet.

Mercedes AMG Project One

Mercedes AMG Project One

Labeled as the “Formula 1 hybrid hypercar”, AMG Project One is equipped with a 1086bhp hybrid powertrain. The concept car, expected to be available by 2019 is dubbed to rival Bugatti Chiron, Aston Martin’s Valkyrie and McLaren’s BP23. Project one is expected to run at a top speed above of 350kph or 217mph, accelerating from 0-62 mph in less than 3 seconds. And how does this hypercar achieve this? Well the gearbox is an eight-speed automated manual paddle shift crafted by Xtrac, it features a Kinetic Energy Recovering System, and sits on magnesium wheels with Michelin Pilot Sport 2 tyres. Some £2.3 million need be prepared if you intend to have one of these in 2019!

Audi A8

Audi A8

Next on the list of exotic cars on display at the Frankfurt Motor Show is the world’s first Level 3 autonomous driving car- the Audi A8. Driving this car means some free time. Why? Equipped with the Audi Ai technology, the car can run up to 37 mph, speed up, slow down, break, park, and steer in its own. And if those aren’t enough, well the A8 has pedestrian detection, blind spot monitoring, curb warning, and traffic jam assistance too. All these high end features are made possible by the sensors, cameras, and radars installed on this next generation vehicle.

Mercedes-Benz GLC F-Cell

Mercedes-Benz GLC F-Cell

Another innovation from Mercedes Benz, this car utilizes a polymer electrolyte hydrogen fuel cell instead of an internal combustion engine. Two power sources, namely- a 4.4kg cell with New European Driving Cycle range of 241 miles and 147kW lithium-ion battery with 30-mile range provide power for this car. The manufacturing company has described the vehicle as something with everyday practicality and convenience. While the car remains as a concept vehicle at this time, with the rise of hydrogen refilling stations by 2023, this car could be a mainstay in the world of electric vehicles.
