Within the world of hyper fast sports cars, there’s a lot to consider — but which ones are worthy of our Top 10 list? The fastest, sexiest, or the most exotic? The answer, of course, is a combination of all three categories — the ones that were mentioned time and time again — by various media websites, such as Car and Driver and Autobytel.
- Hennessey Venom GT
The 1,244-hp Venom GT is possibly the fastest production car in the world when considering its one-run — record-setting — top speed of 270.49-mph. Its zero-to-60/185 mph sprint time has garnered it a Guinness World Record.
- Bugatti Veyron 16.4 Grand Sport Vitesse La Finale
According to Digital Trends, this is the last Veyron the company will ever build. Launched a decade ago, Bugatti celebrates the nameplate’s long life with the “La Finale” and its 1,183 ponies and staggering 1,106 pound-feet of torque.
- Koenigsegg Regera
The Swedish manufacturer introduced its 1,500-hp Regera beast — a limited production plug-in hybrid — at this year’s Geneva Motor Show. It’s worth approximately $2.34 million, based on news from Digital Trends.
- Ferrari 488 GTB
Displayed at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show and set to replace the epic 458 Italia, the 488 GTB boasts several changes, such as a revised V-8 and improved aerodynamics.

As possibly the “most exciting road car ever built” — according to Autoweek — this limited production model benefits from a total 903 horses, and a power-to-weight ratio that exceeds that of the Porsche 918 Spyder.

This stunning, all-new model uses a gasoline-electric hybrid powertrain to generate a staggering 887-hp and 944 lb-ft of torque, and it’s incredibly efficient considering its supercar nature.
- Mercedes-Benz AMG GT S
It’s a 2016 model — but since it arrives this spring — we just couldn’t help ourselves. The GT S boasts a top speed of 193 mph, and sports a 503-hp AMG 4.0-liter V8 bi-turbo engine featuring internally mounted turbochargers.
