Lamborghini V12 Vision GT Turns Heads at Monaco

Lambo V12 Vision Gran Turismo

Lamborghini recently unveiled their Lambo V12 Vision Gran Turismo in Monaco, and needless to say, the all-new hypercar wowed the crowds. Lamborghini has always been known for its aggressive design philosophies, but the Lambo V12 Vision Gran Turismo is aggressive and stunning even by Lamborghini’s standards.

While the Lambo V12 Vision is only a concept car and may never see production, it could hint at future design philosophies for Lamborghini. Since the Lambo V12 Vision is a single seater, that afforded designers a lot of creative freedom. Perhaps the most eye-catching feature of the concept car is the way that the wheels are all but detached from the main body, reminiscent of Formula F1 race cars.

The wheel wells also draw the eye. Notice how the wheels remain closed? It looks like something you might seen in a futuristic movie. The lack of hood space likewise looks like something from a future space age. And instead of a large crumple zone, this Lamborghini is opting for a massive bumper.

Sure, the Lambo V12 Vision Gran Turismo is only a concept but some of the design elements could make their way into production. Then again, who knows, maybe the Lambo V12 Vision Gran Turismo itself will hit the assembly floor.

Further, the powertrain underneath the hood is anything but “concept.” The Lambo V12 Vision uses the same engine as the Lamborghini Sián FKP 37. This V12 engine cranks out up to 819 horsepower when aided by the built-in e-motor.

Ultimately, the Lambo V12 Vision Gran Turismo may be as much fact as fiction.
